DISINFECTION TUNNEL The idea behind India’s latest disinfectant tunnel is simple: wash your hands and walk through a tunnel where disinfectant is sprayed by overhead sprayers. This two stage method will substantially reduce an individual’s number of germs. Disinfection is the process by which infectious organisms are eliminated using chemical or physical agents.

These tunnels spray a mist of disinfectant solution to sanitize a person passing through the tunnel. Such tunnels, however, have been mushrooming across the country following novel corona outbreak.
